I am a civil engineer and a leader in the United States Air Force with a BS in Global Arts, Planning, Design, and Construction from Texas A&M University’s Langford School of Architecture and an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University. I currently serve as the Chief of Design, managing a portfolio of 20-30 projects ranging from $25M to $100M.In my current role, I supervise and guide five engineers to identify requirements and prepare preliminary designs/packages for contracting solicitation. I am also the main point of contact for dispersal and routing of requests for information from AE firms and/or contractors, and the final approval authority for 100% designs to be accepted. I liaise with 411th Contracting Support Brigade and USACE Far East District to fulfill large-scale civil engineering requirements. I have deployed to Qatar, where I served as the Project Management element Chief and the Engineering Flight Chief for 30 days. I am motivated by the opportunity to apply my skills and knowledge to support the mission and vision of the US Air Force, and to collaborate with diverse and talented teams across the globe. I bring a unique perspective and experience to the design and engineering field, as I have studied and worked in different cultural and geographical contexts.
