  This position has accountability for the planning, budgeting, directing and overall management of the Appeals, Reimbursement, Enrollment, Medical Review, Provider Education and Audit functions of the Medicare Operation. This position also has dotted line accountability for the Medicare Chief Financial Officer functions. This position’s activities include managing the functional areas to assure the BCBST corporate interest as a Medicare contractor is protected while meeting CMS performance standards and maintaining favorable relationships with the provider community.
