Served as the senior Noncommissioned Officer in the company, at the Army’s Largest Reception Battalion in TRADOC. Provided extensive knowledge and experience serving in various functions of leadership, training and command to develop and present a variety of instructional course work to military personnel responsible for the in processing of new Soldiers into the United States, Army. Supervised a staff of 30 military and civilian personnel performing a variety of clerical duties, peripheral equipment operations, computer clerical and assistant duties, and classroom instruction, which processed over 52,000 Soldiers annually over a 24 hour a day operation. Oversaw the development of operating procedures for work assigned and completed, also ensured new Soldiers received safe and timely processing, while also receiving the mandatory initial briefing on military courtesy, drill and ceremony, and processing contraband items that set the standard for Initial Entry Training (IET). Assisted with the responsibility for operation and maintaining the Reception Battalion Automated Support System (RECBASS) used to arrive, process, and ship Soldiers to training. Ensured all ID Tags, Stencils, Dental, Medical, and Personnel Records are established and RECBASS data input is completed in a timely manner. Review work in progress or upon completion and through production reports ensures corrective action is taken. Provided Reserve Reception Battalion cadre with training, guidance, and evaluation during weekend and annual drills. Served as a resource person and researched, analyzed, evaluated, and developed training materials, guides, methods and aids for courses for common military subjects. Ensured subordinates were trained on every aspect of section and company operations that enhanced both individual and unit readiness.
