CurrentInitiate robust problem solving by completing the first steps of the 8D process. Ensuring that there is good problem definition and as a result, identify the correct ‘resolver team’ for ‘D2 Handover’ of warranty issues.Using the available warranty data sources, I must propose the fault hypothesis (which may include but is not limited to, further Warranty claims data analysis, process checks/verification (at plant or at supplier), part level investigation, system or vehicle tests) to determine the correct Jaguar Land Rover function(s) responsible for resolution. The hypothesis is then presented to Engineering for the purpose to aid the construction of the diagnosis activities and test plan required to achieve a robust problem definition. Information discovered during the investigation is diligently questioned and logically substantiated by checking related Claims Data / Process validation and work with Testing team for warranty parts returned testing activity.
