During my time in this position I was a member of a number of teams with slightly varying purposes. 1. Maintenance Team Developed balanced scorecard for Europe and Africa Assisted and advised in an asset structure migration within a Computerised Maintenance Management System in conjunction with DNV to meet PSAN requirement. Assisted in a Reliability Centred Maintenance study and drive to use historical records more effectively. Trained in and used multiple Root Cause Analysis techniques (including TOPSET and REASON) to investigate incidents.2. Roving Team Managed a global team of six subject matter experts and one CMMS trainer.3. Global Performance Balanced Scorecard Team The balanced scorecard developed for the Europe and Africa business unit was proving successful and was rolled out worldwide and I was asked to implement this. The project is currently being ported to Oracle Compass to provide both current status and historical trending analysis to necessary personnel within the company.During my time with the balanced scorecard team I also conducted other small projects, one of which was to cross-referenece new order requests against overstock/obsolete stock on other rigs. This highlighted approximately $4M in direct savings.

• Designed a number of statistical analysis database systems to provide outputs for management. These were MS Access and Oracle databases with Crystal reports and Visual Basic. Systems fully integrated with a GIS. • Developed systems to electronically generate performance indicators. Previously the management were not aware of the situation. Completed work to a tight time scale. For one of the systems the council were given the Association of Public Service Excellence (APSE) Green Flag Award in the Parks and Open Spaces category. • Leading an initiative to apply for a £400,000 Lottery Grant that will regenerate local open spaces that have been neglected and under-funded. • Highlighted inaccuracies in vehicle maintenance costs. This saved the department £60,000 per annum due to the double counting of some figures.• Manager of grant applications and a £25,000 budget for refuse bins.
