As an Assistant County Attorney, my duties included drafting and negotiating contracts on behalf of Fulton County and the Fulton County Sheriff, defending the County and its employees in civil litigation in state and federal court, and providing legal opinions to elected officials and department heads. I also represented the Sheriff in employment appeals and represented the County in tax appeals.

As an Assistant Attorney General, I defend the state in civil litigation. My duties included serving as primary counsel at trial, drafting appellate briefs, drafting and arguing motions for summary judgment and motions to dismiss, negotiating settlements, including in mediation, and taking and defending depositions.
