-Report to Global Purchasing Director, be responsible for all China sourcing projects for 17 global sites in NA/SA/EMEA, manage China Sourcing Office performance to achieve targeted results.-Work with sites to identify which parts could be sourced from Asia/China, and take sourcing action plans accordingly (Sourcing/Supplier audit/Negotiation/Project management/Production process monitoring/Quality and Environmental management/Logistics solution/Supply chain management/Supplier performance review/etc). -Main commodities: Plastic, Metal, Mold, Electric, Electronics, Machining, Print, Packaging, Promotion gifts, etc.-Build up standard processes to make sure the purchased goods are safe, at lowest cost and with good quality.-Problem solving for identified issues/risks, to make sure the issues are resolved quickly.-Manage the whole supply chain to ensure on time delivery to global sites (PO follow up/Monitor production process/Quality inspection/Custom clearance /Logistics arrangement and monitoring/Customer end clearance and delivery/ Emergency disposal/etc).-Lead negotiations with Asia/China suppliers (include year over year cost reduction).-Budgeting and controlling the cost for the office.-Manage Purchasing activities in arvato Shanghai plant (Demand planning/ PO arrangement/delivery follow up/ Emergency disposal/etc).-Support global sales team on global logistics solution, supply chain management solution, sourcing support and China market research.
