Program management of military contracts and product development• Currently working on OLAD robotics program for commercial and military customers. Leading effort to optimize & prepare exoskeleton's electrical and software for volume manufacturing. • PM and technical lead on $17M ISSS (Integrated Soldier Sensor System) program consisting of a soldier worn Bluetooth pico-net, MTBI sensor, 3 blast gauges, physiological monitor, Apache database, and Windows 7 based system software for data integration base station. Successfully led team interaction with customer to define requirements, develop system definition, and define scope. Developed program schedules, managed budgets, achieve LCM milestones, and reported results monthly to management. Organized and led BAE team along with teams from 4 sub-contract companies to develop all hardware & software deliverables to successfully complete the program. • Asked to take over HEADS (Headborne Energy and Analysis Diagnostic System) production program to deliver mTBI (Mild Traumatic Brain Injury) sensors and software to the Army. As PM and technical lead quickly solved the customer & supplier problems plaguing the program to successfully deliver >50k units ($46M in revenue) while simultaneously achieving 25% gross margins. Worked closely with customer to develop next generation product leading to ISSS program.

Phoenix, Arizona Area

• Researched and developed product roadmap and business plans based on companies core competencies. Narrowed opportunity thrust to automotive radar effort and created business plan to justify effort and acquire corporate funding.• Developed customers with numerous automotive manufacturers and Tier 1 suppliers in Asia, Europe, and US including Hyundai, GM, Toyota, Volkswagen, Audi, Hella, Valeo, TRW, Bosch, etc. • Found and developed strategic technology partnership with German automotive RADAR supplier (Smart Microwave Sensors). Formed development team consisting of internal engineers, subcontract design house, and subcontract suppliers for foundry and packaging services.• Managed development of 24Ghz SiGe RADAR MMIC with first pass success in 13 months.• Developed supply chain using contract manufacturers in Thailand, Malaysia, and Taiwan.• Brought to the company extensive new capabilities including SiGe IC design, volume plastic packaging, RADAR expertise, automotive experience, and high volume, high frequency IC socket test.

Led and managed all wireless product developments in the company below 6GHz. • Jointly developed customers in Europe, Asia, and the US with the marketing group. Presented technical roadmaps, provide product samples, and developed customer product requirements.
