Operations Systems April 2012 – August 2012Hess Corporation, Houston TexasPetrolink Real Time – Implementing Real Time data from the rigs to our Real Time Center in Houston. Our team has successfully implemented PV and ROV real time streaming on Stena Forth and actively piloting the land rig in North Dakota. Other active projects are Paris and EG. The scope of the work includes assessing infrastructure, bandwidth, coordination with vendors such as Harris-Caprock, Oceaneering for ROV, Pason system and etc. Actively working with Petrolink to program PV to capture real time data to Wellview.Data integration cleanup – Working internally with engineers and various vendors to implement data integrity in Wellview. Other related active project is to re-launch Wellview from the process perspective. Scope is to implement the process, deployment, provide training and support globally.Global drilling rigs support – Travel to the field twice a year to do a health check to all rigs in N. America (Seminole, ND, Utica, and GOM). Prepared and send laptops for oncoming rigs by providing new image on laptops, installed Wellview 9, cached Outlook and shared network accounts, and all required applications. Properly tested Wellview and Juniper VPN connection prior to shipping the equipment to the rigs. Provide ongoing Wellview support for usability issues and critical site problems, as needed. Applications supported – Wellview 9, SiteView, Land mark suite, UnRiskIT, Crystal Ball, PetroLink, and etc.

Wellview 9 project - Worked with team on various projects. We have planned, tested, and implemented Wellview 9 out to all global rigs and end users. There was many issues arise during the testing phase. Issues included database, license, Citrix compatibility, etc. The transition took 14 months to complete due to Beta versions. Provide ongoing support for Wellview Champions, office users, standalone rig users, creating batch reports, and admin application and database upgrades.Landmark project – Coordinated all related parties to engage in EDT application testing, Citrix server installation, EDM database installation, securities and ongoing support. Coordinated trainings for EDT globally by engaging local IT resources, worked with Landmark for training licenses, and attending all classes at all training locations (Houston, London, Perth, and Jakarta).PVTsim 19 project – Worked with team consisted of infrastructure, SMS, and Citrix groups. Our goal is to upgrade to the latest version. In addition, replacing the Nethasp.ini with Flexlm license model. This would allow Hess to keep track of usage. The project was complete and successful under my coordination and testing.Drilling Office/OTD rollout - Our goal is to upgrade to the latest version. The project was to test the latest version and manually installed on local end users’ machine. The extend of the project was about 6 months to complete due to test, implementation, and time difference with global end users. The project was complete and successful under my coordination and testing.UnRiskIT project – Installed the software on both our test and production Citrix server. Coordinate training classes globally. Daily support global users with performance, technical issues, IT related, and functionality.

InQuest Resources, contractor to Hess Corporation, Houston TexasSupported and traveled to rigs and shore bases in GOM. Supported E&P end users with daily desktop issues. Duties included support and setup equipment such as desktops, laptops, network printers on the rigs (Ocean Baroness and Baldpate) and gas plants in Sea Robin and Seminoles. Worked with data replication team to replicate data from offshore rigs to onshore for usage by the drilling managers.

Support end users of 300 people locally and remotely with daily technical issues using a variety of tools. My responsibilities include: installing Windows XP and installing optional programs such as Ms Office Suite, printkey2000, Symantec Antivirus, and etc... Some of these procedures are done using remote desktop software for remote client access such as Dameware and Window RDP. Deploy PCs and laptops with Symantec Ghost imaging software and Sysprep. Setup and manage digital phone system and IP phones. Set up new user accounts and manage data in Active Directory. Troubleshoot health systems such as HIMS, EZCAP, CCE, and VE. Set up and troubleshoot Terminal Services terminals and install network printers.

Support all users for call center and end users for (350 people) having computer problems with conflicting applications. Installed, configured and upgraded computer hardware and maintained Windows XP along with MS Office products and Wyse terminal. Troubleshot hardware such as printers. Network troubleshooting included TCP/IP configurations on desktops. Daily network maintenance included all Windows client/server updates, Symantec Antivirus implementation and Active Directory administration. Migrated users from multiple domains into one single domain. Managed the daily data tape backups. PBX duties involved voicemail and extension changes and new end user setup. Setup HP Thin Clients and Wyse VT100 Terminals Administration of Outlook clients. Organizations and certificates: Toastmasters and HUET.
