Assistant Accountant (Full Time): May 2024 - Present• Overseeing accounts payable and receivable and working with the team to correctly report expenses and revenue.• Preparing and posting prepayment schedule, accruals and recurring journals.• Maintaining fixed asset register.• Reviewing bank and credit card reconciliation.• Posting intercompany journals.• Generating trial balance and mapping it to financial report.• Reviewing and comparing expenses and revenue against budget and liaising with team for any variances leaving comments before presenting the report to CFO and CEO.

Preparing individual, business (Sole trader & partnership), company and trust tax returns. Adding clients to ATO tax portal and retrieving related data to XERO software to reconcile and reassure accurate data entry. Contacting and meeting clients to discuss and gather accurate financial and personal information necessary to process tax returns. Being responsible and ethical to protect personal information. Creating invoices and sending it through to related clients.

 Invoice reconciliation for accounts payable and liaising to vendors and OTA’s (Overseas Travel Agents) regarding discrepancies.  Revenue management, ensuring all receivables are up to date and following up with debtors for any delayed payment. Bank and credit card reconciliation.  Revenue and cash management.  Reconciling all revenue and cash collection for daily transactions and ensuring there are no discrepancies.  Banking of cash collection each week.  Overseeing Front Desk, sales and accounts petty cash and ensure claiming of all sundry and miscellaneous expenses with accuracy. Controlling and monitoring payroll fortnightly with using the time target software.  Using the PMS system RoomMaster to generate reports.

 Preparing and lodging individual tax returns  Ensuring clients are report of all their assessable income and aware of their allowable deductions are in accordance within Australian taxation legislation. Performing normal ad hoc duties.  Ensured all personal data is safe and private
