Commercial leader with 25+ years leadership experience in the electrochemistry / chemicals / pharma / telecom industries with responsibility for the SAARC region. During this period, I have managed C-level relationships in conjunction with partners from the far-east, Europe and the US. Electrochemistry / chemical process industry1) I have setup 6 greenfield/brownfield electrochemistry plants of capacity 40-400 TPD over 10 years. These labs function as an industry-academia interface for the Indian market and provide clients paid infrastructure for proof-of-concept / pilot-plant studies. To further strategically support clients, I have created application engineering teams to assist in industrial upscaling. Based on the above client engagement programmes. TelecomIn the Telecom sector, I have invested deeply (~15 years) in telecom service provider client relationships. We have achieved 70% share position and with the changing business requirements, the incumbent position in the lucrative Data Centre business. I have led active engagements with DOT, BBNL and TEC both directly and through industry representative bodies such as USIBC with demonstrated results, as also an anti-dumping matter for telecom products, in the Supreme Court of India.Result oriented, I bring extensive experience managing short sales cycles (Telecom), medium sales cycles (Pharma and Chemicals) and longer duration business development projects (advance materials in space exploration, white goods and construction).
