We combine professional competence with peer work through our own projects that promote mastery, innovation and development of new technology that provides new opportunities for our target groups and through research projects in collaboration with renowned research environments that bring the field of rehabilitation forward.In addition, the foundation is a clear social actor who will engage in debate, increase knowledge about opportunities for our target groups and share information to people exposed to serious injury or illness and their relatives, the municipal health service as well as politicians and the government.

The Norwegian Ski Federation was established in 1905 and administer the skiing disciplines of alpine, cross-country, freestyle, Telemark, Nordic combined and ski jumping as well as the 16 skiing districts of Norway. With 140 000 members the Norwegian Ski federation is the third biggest federation in The Norwegian Olympic and Paralympic Committee and Confederation of Sports (NIF). The Norwegian Ski federation is one of the founding partners of the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS), with 135 member nations.The General Assembly of NSF is the supreme governing body, and is held every second year with a board election.

Mandate: To be a non-commercial, politically independent public broadcaster for everybody in Norway. Standing member of the Committee of Finance. The budget of Oslo City Council is approx 85 billion NOK a year. The highest decision-making body in Oslo is the City Council, which has 59 members. The City Council is chaired by the Mayor of Oslo. The City Council decides on the City budget and overall policies for the City of Oslo. The City Council also supervises the City Government and its administration. The configuration of the City Council determines the composition of the City Government according to a parliamentary system of government.The City Council is divided into five Standing Committees: Finance, Health and Welfare, Urban Development, Education and Cultural Affairs and Transport and Environmental Affairs. These committees prepare all matters for decision by the City Council. The Council also has a Procedures Committee which organizes the work of the Council and a Control Committee which supervises the activities of the City Government and its administration.

The Norwegian Biotechnology Advisory Board is an independent body consisting of 15 members and 5 deputy members appointed by the Norwegian government. The main tasks of the Norwegian Biotechnology Advisory Board is to evaluate the social and ethical consequences of modern biotechnology and to discuss usage which promotes sustainable development.The Norwegian Biotechnology Advisory Board has approximately ten regular board meetings and organises several public conferences annually.The secretariat of the Norwegian Biotechnology Advisory Board has eight employees assisting and coordinating the board.

The Norwegian Olympic and Paralympic Committee and Confederation of Sports (NIF) is an umbrella organisation which organises all national sports federations in Norway. NIF has approx. 1.900.000 memberships and consists of 55 national federations, 11 regional confederations, app. 328 sports councils and 9454 clubs.

The Norwegian Association of Youth with Disabilities is an umbrella organization, representing 38 organizations for children and young people with disabilities or chronic disease.Our goal is equality and societal participation for youth with disabilities and chronic disease.We work politically to promote the common interests of our member organisations.We gather knowledge and spread information about issues that are vital to ensure equality and participation. We offer a range of resources to member organizations, decision-makers, public services, private sector and other organizations.We offer support to our member organizations, and foster cooperation between organizations for youth with disabilities and chronic disease.

The Student Welfare Council in Oslo and Akershus (Norway) is a student council founded in 2004 which consists of student representatives from the different institutions of higher education that are members of the student welfare organization SiO, representing approximately 70 000 students. Our mandate is to communicate the students’ wishes and demands towards SiO and the services they supply, as well as the national student organizations. The Welfare Council is the electorate for students in the various boards of SiO. The Welfare Council also elects four students to be the The Welfare Council executive committee every spring.
