I am a non-paid Director on the board of Indigitek.My role is to provide strategic vision, financial governance, innovation and support in line with Indigitek's values. Indigitek is a team of 4 people, a community of over 100 passionate Indigenous members and partner with organisations that truly believe in our shared vision.

Provide leadership and guidance to the team I am in that consists of 17 direct team reports that are geographically dispersed across Australia and in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.Enable the growth of employees – my goal is to empower individuals, to develop meaningful goals, to be inclusive, and support the individual’s career and personal opportunities.Mentoring and coaching – I focus on the key strengths of the individuals and then cultivate to enhance each individual’s strengths without losing sight of and addressing challenges.Influence the strategic direction of the team with a focus on the global innovation– participate and review the global strategy and then align to the vision of the organisation and the global team.Perform an escalation role for business critical and customer sensitive situations - communicating at multiple levels from technical field engineers to executive roles.Foster relationships with the global teams of Hitachi Vantara to achieve successful outcomes whilst working in a compassionate and collaborative manner.Responsible for the Director of Global Support APAC duties when necessary - accountability for 40 team members.
