In this dynamic management role, I am responsible for the direction and long term strategy of the Senator's policy interests, alongside the varied short-term demands of work in the Australian Senate at Parliament House, Canberra. Responsibilities include stakeholder engagement and management, advocacy to the Executive, extensive policy research and analysis for Senate and Parliamentary committee work, speech writing, media strategy and liaising with public service representatives. I also oversee the written and print political communications of the office including executing campaigns in designated duty electorates and facilitating community engagement.

In this role I built my skills in political communication, community outreach and running successful election campaigns.Beginning as an electorate officer managing constituent cases and community outreach, I expanded my role to become an integral part of the management of election campaigns across digital and print communications as well as campaign organising and volunteer coordination. I also gained experience in policy research and parliamentary work through a long period of working for the Member at Parliament House in Canberra, including stakeholder management, political and media strategy as well as speech writing.
