Working across the fields of politics and government, I have a live interest in the development and implementation of public policy. The best part of my current role working for a Senator for Victoria in the Australian Senate is the scope I have to deep dive on a broad range of policy issues, examining them from both a political and public policy view. My considerable experience in political offices has meant I am agile and adaptable to rapid changes in the political landscape, and understand how government, politics and interests groups all interact to create both challenges and opportunities for parliamentarians and stakeholders alike. I stick to a thorough yet amiable management style that is consultative but direction focused. I believe in giving staff the flexibility to pursue their own interests while maintaining that the overarching goals of the office are met and delivered professionally.I have an excellent working knowledge of political campaigns, having worked and volunteered on them for years.
