I am the co-founder and technical lead at Apnea-Tech which has developed a low-cost, purposeful sleep apnoea screening device, ApneScan-DC1. This screener is MHRA registered as UKCA Class 1 and has two granted patents. ApneScan is being used in a clinical study at Royal Stoke University Hospital. With STFC support and IBM AI expertise, it is being developed towards a Class IIa diagnostic.I am also the author of two books, Mosquito Intruder Pilot and Mosquito Intruders - Target Burma, which have been published by Pen & Sword Books.
