Apnea-Tech Ltd (ATL) has been established to research, develop and commercialise a unique sensor-based technology to support the diagnosis of Sleep Apnea. Associations between untreated moderate or severe sleep apnoea have been demonstrated in several large population studies. Severe sleep apnoea confers a 2.6 times increased risk of incident myocardial infarction, coronary revascularization, congestive heart failure or cardiovascular death.
