I have really enjoyed the chance to expand on my initial job description by learning about additional areas of responsibility and, in the case of safety, helping shape company policy to keep my colleagues safe. Another thing that has been quite rewarding is the opportunity to train new members in my department and colleagues in related departments to provide my field experience to their unique situations.

At Rimbey TV I handled a wide array of products, installing and maintaining equipment in clients homes, businesses and vehicles while also training others to do the same, managing inventory in my department and working with the sales team to handle booking. We primarily dealt with fixed wireless and satellite internet systems, home and automotive audio/video, GPS navigation and tracking systems, remote car starters, and security systems for homes, businesses and vehicles but were also occasionally asked to handle equipment outside our normal purview. This resulted in a need for a lot of research and training to continually be up to date in the latest technologies encountered and the ability to adapt to new situations on the fly.
