About Ben Nesbitt
I developed a reputation for myself with Platinum Communication as a reliable and dependable problem-solver. During this time I held a security clearance for critical internet infrastructure and was dispatched to handle the more critical cases in my region of operations. I wrote software to assist in my troubleshooting and with it, was often able to resolve multiple clients issues at once by pinpointing the source of the problem, rather than patching symptoms. After I moved to Valard Construction as a member of the X-Ray Inspection team where I worked as part of a team creating a method, system and apparatus for non-destructive testing (NDT) of electrical power line systems for which we were granted US Patent 10656104.On joining Domino Highvoltage, I was instrumental in starting the test lab in Edmonton, acting as the local Lab Lead and writing the draft copy of the procedures which were later formally adopted. During this time I also laid the foundations for our Rental Division and assisted Sales with tool sales. Later, I wrote a training manual for the sales team on tool sales and trained a replacement for rentals. By this time, the lab had grown and I moved into logistics and fleet where I worked to rebuild some of the reports used to streamline operations. Currently, still with Domino Highvoltage, I have moved to Risk Management where I interact with our various other departments to manage corporate risk while assisting in special projects as they overlap with my previous experience. As an example, I recently completed work as Project Manager for the project of building out a new lab facility in Humble, TX which was completed on time and on budget. In my personal time I volunteer for Ponoka Regional Fire Services as a Firefighter and mentor.

I work with both commercial and residential clients providing a fixed wireless internet solution. As part of my responsibilities I also deal with tower and infrastructure maintenance.
