I retired recently as a Major General from the Indian Army. Was approved for the rank of Lt Gen for Command stream.I am staff college, Higher command and National Defence College.I have done M phil twice and about to complete my PhD in Geopolitics.I am also post graduate in Business Administration and proficient in Spanish and Russian LanguagesI have rich operational experience and have served with UN in Central America and as Defence Attaché in Central Asia.I have held very prestigious command, instructional and selected staff appointments.I specialise on China, Central Asia,Operational art and military science and conduct Net Assessment, Scenario Building and Strategic Gaming events at the national levelVisited about 30 countries and participate in national and international level seminars in India and abroad.I was awarded distinguished service awards by the president of India on three occasions for distinguished service , courage and devotion to duty.I am interested in working on high quality strategic security study projects in India and abroad and participate in national and international seminars Track 2 level Discussions

Conduct project studies on strategic security and conduct ante Assessment , Scenario Building and Strategic Games.Also, I guide research fellows and participate in national and international events.

I was senior faculty member teaching high ranking senior military, civil services and foreign defence officers on international and national security. Also, guided M phil candidates.

I held prestigious command , staff and instructional level appointments and represented country at the UN as military observer and as defence attaché in Central Asia.Conducted anti terrorist operations
