I am a Project Management Specialist specifically working in the biotechnology, pre-clinical phase of drug development. In my year and a half of working at Charles River Laboratories I've managed a set of 40-60+ projected focused on providing genetically engineered model services to domestic and international clients. My education in Biomedical Engineering with concentrations on Technology Innovation and Public Health and MBA candidacy serve my long term objective is to serve the healthcare and biotechnology industries focusing specifically on tackling health disparities that affect marginalized communities such as BIPOC individuals and LGBTQIA+ folks. My professional interests include project management, process flow optimization, and mentorship to build sustainable systems for myself and my colleagues. On a personal level, I am passionate about healthcare and innovating processes and technologies to strengthen the quality and accessibility of medical care to vulnerable or ignored communities. I hope to work as an executive leader either guiding the corporate strategy at a large scale pharmaceutical company to address said health disparities or driving my own solution to market having identified a gap in the current healthcare industry. I understand that true success is supplemented by finding like-minded, career driven people who are excelling in their fields, and collaborating together that showcases the strengths and passions of all involved. I driven impact in my current and previous roles whether be building a new Target Starbucks team from scratch to meet our licensing standards, proactively rescheduling patients to optimize clinic flow and to strengthen their patient experience for specialty clinic at a high flow outpatient dermatology practice, or QCing and mitigating project issues to meet and exceed our clients' standard.
