Brian has been with Illuminate Education since the merger with Alpine Achievement in 2018. At Alpine Achievement, Brian was the Alpine Data Systems Trainer. Currently, at Illuminate Education, Brian is the Professional Learning Solutions Manager, where he works with the Training Team and others to develop professional learning solutions. Brian has been a presenter at numerous national-level conferences including at Schoology Next, Learning Forward, ISTE, eduCLIMBER, IEUC Midwest, and IEUC West. Prior to working at Illuminate Education, Brian was a teacher and leader in K-12 education for 31-years. Brian taught secondary science and technology throughout Colorado and completed his education career as the Professional Learning Coordinator in a large school district (Falcon School District 49). Brian has earned a Master’s Degree in Education Leadership and Policy Studies at the University of Northern Colorado and an Ed. D. in Educational Technology with a focus on adult learning from Walden University. During his free time, Brian enjoys spending time with family, traveling, golfing, and building things.
