I manage a team of 2 CIPE junior staffers and 3-4 CIPE contractors and:- Lead CIPE's work on a US State Department-funded technology and anti-corruption project w/ partners Accountability Lab and Development Gateway. Since 2022, I have contributed research to educate participants for anti-corruption hackathons in South Africa, Nepal, Colombia, Malaysia, and (in September '24) Albania. Current task --> co-authoring research on technology for business integrity.- Lead CIPE project partnering with Professor Alina Mungiu-Pippidi's team at LUISS developing the Corruption Risk Forecast (www.corruptionrisk.org, or CRF). On this project, I direct web development, write blogs, present to partners and potential users in the US government and global business (ex: Amazon, Bloomberg News, UBS, Moody's), and manage a Google Ads campaign.- Lead a pan-Africa Follow The Money project with partners in Ghana, Sierra Leone, and Nigeria, including Abuja-based Connected Development (CODE)- I also had a temporary role kickstarting CIPE's Galvanize the Private Sector as Partners in Combatting Corruption (GPS) project, funded by the State Department, including leading production of the CIPE GPS page: https://acgc.cipe.org/gps

- Contributions in this role: (1) working with a web developer and research team to design and launch a new corruption index website -- www.corruptionrisk.org, and presenting on the new index to the CIPE board of directors, (2) leading a makeover of the team website - acgc.cipe.org - (3) writing a few dozen blogs on the Business of Integrity blog (search "Schmidt") on acgc.cipe.org, (4) leading design and development of the Rapid Response Anti-Corruption website - acgc.cipe.org/rapidresponse, and (5) contributing to the proposal and first edition participant guides for the #HackCorruption project - www.hackcorruption.org. - I also contributed to proposals to the US State Department of Human Rights & Labor & the National Endowment for Democracy and led my department's communications, including blogs (10 authored, 15 edited), podcasts (co-host on 2 episodes, producer for over 25), social media (100s of Tweets), six department newsletters, several event invitations and project overview powerpoint presentations.

- Supported communications initiatives for the Anti-Corruption & Governance Center (ACGC) at CIPE, including the Business of Integrity Blog and the ACGC website- Supported ACGC projects, proposals, events, podcasts, and newsletters- Contributed writing and editing for ACGC, CIPE Global and CIPE regional teams

- For USAID-funded project in Armenia, I contributed research, writing, and editing to a deliverable defining technical requirements of a new e-governance platform.- Wrote several pieces for the ACGC Business of Integrity blog (see links) and created multiple presentations for ACGC public events- Created department project tracker and drafted/navigated numerous contracts, international trip schedules, and approvals

* Over two 4-month summer seasons, I accompanied Preventive technicians on their pest control routes to current customers and conducted door-to-door marketing to neighbors across the greater Nashville metropolitan area. On average, I added 2-3 new customers to Preventive Pest Control's network per day.* I addressed the concerns of thousands of existing and new customers, adding new services and revenue worth over $100,000.

- Wrote 6-10 articles per week in accordance with organization’s style-guide & procedures and worked with staff editors to ensure quality and accurate use of facts and sources. - Regularly featured articles among the highest-viewed of the week, including one of the highest-viewed articles on the site (see link).- Contributed video voice-overs and participated in live event coverage.

- Arranged daily service projects for nonprofit organization for 3 months, including 15-20 projects/100 volunteers per week. - Organized & led 12-15 year old youth in work, service, recreation, and mountaineering activities

- Managed full sales-cycle for business customers of Metricly's SaaS predictive analytics monitoring solution for IT operations - Named Sales Team Captain in October 2016 after regularly leading 18-person team in demos-set and deals-closed- Used Microsoft Office Suite, SalesForce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Salesloft software on a daily basis to source, contact, qualify, and follow up with business customers

- Aided in development and managed full sales-cycle of Bluehost’s suite of student-focused web hosting tools- Generated highest revenue on 5-member team in 2014, created 10+ WordPress sites, hosted 25+ webinars

- Achieved highest customer satisfaction rate (8.46/9), lowest cancellation rate (3%), and second highest cash-per-contact on 25-member sales team.- Generated more than $150,000 in revenue as a part-time agent.

- Led and provided training for groups of 8-20 individuals over 11 months- Spent 9 months training three new American volunteers and one new Brazilian volunteer in procedures, teaching methods, and language skills.

- Graded more than 200 hundred essays and tests each month for Brighton High School's AP US History, AP Comparitive Politics, and AP European History courses.
