Usability specialist with a personal drive for user centered innovation and product development within medical devices. Member of Medicoindustrien's expert group for Usability Engineering since 2018.I have several years of experience within application of usability engineering to medical devices according to IEC 62366, this being both on a process and organizational level, as well as on a practical and project level. I demonstrate a good understanding of risk management from an ISO 14791 point of view, being able to follow through on activities such as task analysis and use error risk analysis. This enables me to analyse, optimize, evaluate and conclude on the medical device usability as it relates to safety and effectiveness.I demonstrate a high sense of responsibility, creativity, and an analytical mindset. I also take pride in being good at communicating and documenting my work.My background: A great amount of curiosity, passion for challenging conventions and a fascination with the human body as an advanced machine, led me to the exciting field of biomedical engineering. As a biomedical engineer I have a foundation based on both technical and clinical insight. Focussing on user centered product development within medical devices. I hope to make a difference by taking part in improving and rethinking current solutions for patient diagnosis and treatment.
