Board Director of the 'Greater Exeter Skills Partnership' contributing to its work in progressing the agenda to ensure that school leavers are equipped to pursue their chosen careers and members of the community are able to compete for jobs and retain employment by supporting skills development in key sectors that are critical to the growth of the economy.

Experience of managing high impact change and return on investment over a range of HE Professional Services. Worked in senior roles across the University-Business interface for over 25 years delivering nationally and internationally acclaimed sector-leading and award-winning services in relation to employability, careers and learner support, enterprise and entrepreneurship education, placement strategies, employer-engagement, corporate web-based services and virtual learning environments, library and information services, personal and professional development and business HR support. Led-several £multi-million projects across these areas including the commercial contract to deliver a HRM graduate development program on behalf of the nuclear sector (25 multi-national energy and manufacturing companies) which became the highest 1st time entrant in the Times Top 100 Graduate Employers list. Assisted a number of national and international Universities, recruiters, professional associations and Government in reviewing and developing related services and strategies. I speak frequently on such issues at a regional, national and international level. Also leading a research team at Exeter in collaboration with a global education company examining practice in creating exemplar University Employability Ecosystems (see link below).

Responsible for leading on the successful bid (on behalf of Lancaster University) to win the contract and its delivery of the national Nuclear Graduates programme on behalf of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA).The contract included developing and co-ordinating the delivery of the programme in partnership with 26 national and multi-national graduate employers across civil, defence and decomissioning sectors.
