Over three years, we helped the company established 17 hospitals nationwide before being acquired by Vencor/Kindred. Our engagement included acquiring hospitals, opening new hospitals, recruiting hospital medical staffs, implementing new business lines, developing strategic business plans, and overseeing the evolution of the company’s outcomes management and performance monitoring system. Developed a unique functional improvement-scoring tool and related software program, since traditional outcomes systems were not suitable for the long-term acute care patient.
