Two successful, spin-offs were developed during my time: 1) Pincher Creek Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) Facility: What initially started as a repurposing project for an older gas asset evolved into an Alberta Environment approved Carbon Capture and Storage site in the SW area of the province. I developed the concept for a CCS facility based on an analysis of the geotechnical/reservoir capabilities of the former gas field and its associated saline water leg. Other work included the following: - CCS Hub design with GLE and other engineering consulting firms with estimates on CO2 capacity based on material balance, phase/reservoir modeling and seismic work- Frame-out of 'transition fuels site' including a blue ammonia/H2 plant, and green power facility (Allam Cycle) and associated infrastructure - Writing the full project proposal (RFPP) document and submitting to Alberta Energy. Managed the process with over 11 different engineering firms and external consultants. One of only 22 successful applicates out of a candidate pool over 150+ operators2) Frog Lake First Nation Independant Oil Company (Buffalo Mission): Building on the success of West Lake's multi-leg open hole approach, Frog Lake was identified as an area with large drilling inventory of potentially economic locations. Working with the Frog Lake First Nation band, council and residents we were able to build out an oil-focused, exploitation operation to help produce their oil. Show less

Created field and corporate economic models, input sensitivities (Monte Carlo analysis, linear programming, etc), production forecasts, type curve estimates and decline analysis- Constructed and maintained reserve book for over 10,000 boepd, 150 MMbbl asset worth slightly over $3 B at 2022 strip- Built the reservoir, economic and production models for over 20 new heavy, medium and light oil waterfloods, of which 14 were executed in the field using a 'cost-minimization' mentality. Projects achieved payout in under 1.5 years, PI over 7 and ROI over 400% at $45WCS flat. NAV contribution of these projects was in excess of $980MM at 2022 strip- Developed the acquisition framework (production, reservoir, economic models and pitch book) for 11 new asset purchases. Each with primary and secondary upside economic at $40WCS flat using innovative multi-leg (TAML 1) horizontals and 'cost-minimized' waterfloods - Lead technical evaluator for $100MM acquisition of Boulder Energy, light oil, gasflooded asset. He is able to integrate these models with ValNav to produce optimal designs. In support of his models, Blair uses Excel, Spotfire and Power BI analytics to interpret bulk data. His proficiency in Excel is strong and his ability to see trends and create visualizations of data is exceptional. • Supervised Execution Operations: Blair has managed the day-to-day activities of operating sites including trouble-shooting problems, personnel scheduling, vendor selection, contracts management and regulatory compliance.
