The World Affairs Council of Philadelphia makes critical, international affairs topics accessible to people of all ages, political beliefs, and backgrounds. The Council provides public policy forums, renowned speaker series, world travel opportunities and acclaimed youth education programs, including its partnership with the School District of Philadelphia for the William W. Bodine High School for International Affairs.

World Cafe Live is an independent non-profit venue, committed to live music, learning and community. I first joined the organization as the Director of Development for LiveConnections (merged with World Cafe Live in 2019). I managed our foundation and corporate partnerships, individual giving, donor stewardship and fundraising events. I serve as a lead teaching artist for "Immigrant Songs” our songwriting residency for refugee and immigrant teens in Northeast Philadelphia, delivered in partnership with HIAS PA.

The BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop is an intensive two-year scholarship program for emerging composers, lyricists, and librettists. I participated as a lyricist, building transferable skills in content delivery, collaboration and creative project management.

Steven Van Zandt’s Teach Rock project brings rich educational materials to teachers and students at no cost. The interdisciplinary lesson plans and multimedia resources at teachrock.org are designed to engage and inspire young people through the lens of American popular music. As an Education Project Manager, I facilitated content delivery and curriculum design, organized professional development opportunities for teachers, and managed partnerships with key education and media partners such as Scholastic and ABC News.

The Education and Community Engagement department of the Nashville Symphony aims to engage and inspire audiences, serving more than 200,000 participants per year with free, innovative music programming. As the Director, I led all education and community engagement activities for the Nashville Symphony, including Young People's Concerts, in-school programs, community partnerships with organizations such as the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, Metro Nashville Public Library and the Mayor's after-school initiative.

I assisted with statewide women's outreach strategy & advocacy as a full-time volunteer during the 2008 presidential campaign, managing persuasion events with campaign surrogates and women elected officials throughout Pennsylvania.

Colorado Springs, Co

The USGA selected six college graduates each year for an intensive two-year fellowship. USGA Fellows facilitated the annual $5 million grant initiative, including the grant application review process, grant compliance, departmental communication, and building local community programs. I managed education grants with partners such as the YMCA, The First Tee, and Boys and Girls Clubs in the West Region.
