She is a graduate of Southern Methodist University's Dedman School of Law and Cox School of Business, where she received her JD/MBA. She completed her undergraduate degree at Vanderbilt University, receiving a B.A. Economics and a minor in Corporate Strategy. After graduating with her JD/MBA, she practiced law at Holland & Knight for two years as an Associate with the Financial Services Team.Upon graduation from SMU, she was inducted into the Order of Barristers and received a scholarship for service to the school. She won SMU's negotiation competition and moot court competition. She competed on several national off-campus mock trail, moot court and arbitration teams. These accomplishments demonstrate her ability to discern and define the issues facing a client, both pro and con, and communicate effectively. She served as the Chair of the Board of Advocates at SMU Dedman School of Law, was a member of the Barristers at SMU Dedman School of Law, and a member of the Real Estate and Finance Club at SMU Cox School of Business.At Vanderbilt University, Blair was a member of the Moot Court team and competed in the regional tournament in Little Rock, AR. She was also a member of the Vanderbilt Honor Council where she investigated violations, advised students, and issued penalties. This taught her responsibility and shows that she has the ability to research an issue and fight for both sides, the student and the school.
