This combined with incentives allowed departments such as wire cut to be reduced to 30 percent capacity.• Built software to log incorrectly cut material along with hardware to digitally verify wire lengths. Now material is recycled back into production by comparing wire attributes to current material requirements.• Built material handling system with multiple interfaces for procurement software with Kanban analysis, receiving, B.O.M. kit pulling, inventory and shelving management. Held multiple training sessions for each interface. • Greatly increased efficiency and communication between employees of the engineering department by digitalizing spec and setup process. Set up electrical assemblies from drawings supplied by customers. This involves creating a cut sheet, determining circuit splice locations, and creating bill of materials. Other responsibilities included designing information posted on layout boards and setting up test procedures to verify the electrical continuity of the assemblies. This also involves reverse engineering of customer supplied assemblies.
