I joined the U.S Navy at 18 as a hydraulics mechanic for four years. After the military I went to school at Central Texas College and Spokane community college to pursue a trade as a hydraulics mechanic but wasn't able to afford to work and go to school at the same time. After school I landed a job as a motorman/ mechanic with a drilling contractor called PArker drilling for seven years. Unfortunately the rig I was on god shut down. I loved my job and the people I worked with and hopefully I can continue a career in the oil and gas industry. Like I've always said the oilfield is not a job to me it's a career!!
