Project: Sentinel (GBSD)-Selected for a short term assignment to help beginning set up the Pipe Stress analysis program for Sentinel.-Help develop project design guide for Pipe Stress Analysis utilizing applicable codes and standards for DOD launch facilities. -Coordinate and define requirements with client, systems engineering, and through project documentation research. -Developed preliminary analysis and project design template file for AutoPIPE stress analysis software.-Train employees on the use of AutoPIPE and analysis involving buried pipe and response spectrum (seismic & nuclear blast). -Work with Bechtel Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to determine pipe stress analysis approaches and implementation. -Help develop scope of work, schedule, and associated budget and hours for all stress analysis deliverables.-Originated nominal wall thickness calculation for all piping on project.

Project: NASA Mobile Launcher 2 (ML2)Utilize the following softwares: ANSYS Workbench, ANSYS SpaceClaim, AutoPIPE, Creo View, Windchill, Navisworks, Mathcad, AutoCAD, Kofax Power PDF, Autodesk Vault.Analyze and design for the structural integrity of piping systems and supports in accordance with ASME B31.3, ASME BPVC, ASCE 7-10, AISC Steel Manual, and NASA Specifications. Design and analyze for Pressure, Gravity, Thermal, Wind/Hurricane, Blast Loads, Launch Vibration, Fluid Transients, Pressure Relief Thrust, Interfacing Equipment Displacements.Utilize ANSYS for FEA (Structural and Heat Transfer) on nonstandard piping components in blast environment. Develop 3D solid models in ANSYS Spaceclaim for all components analyzed. Cryogenic system pipe stress analysis.
