Profile bio

About Benoit Dionne, Ph.D.

As a nuclear engineering leader, partners and leadership stakeholders rely on my ability to both see the big picture and develop plans to execute highly complex, long-term projects, and I excel in managing technology, processes, and people. I bring over two decades of diverse experience spanning industry, academic, and national laboratory settings as well as different reactor technologies such as research and test reactors, sodium fast reactors, molten-salt reactors, CANDU reactors and gas-cooled reactors. Because I do not rely on a set of uniform experiences to inform my decision-making, I am adept at synthesizing and drawing analogies to complex situations and finding innovative approaches to manage within an evolving environment for a broad range of nuclear technologies.Multiple times, I have built out critical teams and forged strong working relationships with international, government, and regulatory partners. My strength as a leader is my ability to guide and mature multidisciplinary teams to align with the strategic vision.
