Naturally curious, I enjoy researching history, paying attention to world events, traveling and new technologies. Movies and video games are another thing I enjoy. Hoping to travel more in the future; Italy has been my favorite, my mother wants to retire there. Mental health as we know both in civilian and military is a sad truth, having friends who have lost their lives dealing with it. The yearn to serve, grow, and help people has become my fuel as a 3rd generation military member. A friendly smile and kind word can make all the difference. Working for Data Dimensions prior military, we contracted with the VA and digitalized veterans' medical paperwork. Held my first clearance and further developed my analytical and problem-solving skills. Troubleshooting and problem solving, as well as attention to detail were paramount. Now I am about to get out of the military as an Infantry soldier having the honor to have served in Caisson conducting about 200 high honor funerals in Arlington National Cemetery, the 2nd rarest badge in the Army they say. This was volunteer with a rigorous tryout in which I mastered riding a horse and pressing my uniforms daily. This grew me from more than someone trained physically, but someone who is mentally mature and professional. I gave tours to high profile VIPs and their families, even meeting a Senator from Iowa, growing my communication skills. While working long hours, I went to school for Intelligence, a major goal of mine. During school, I also learned to use various software and resources online for fun. I then was accepted into the SkillBridge NPower where I enhanced my skills with in depth training via labs and tests in Cybersecurity to include Linux, Splunk, and CompTIA Security +. These certifications were hard work and I look forward to gaining more; as well as a Master degree.I say all this to give myself a voice more than just a resume to understand some of the intangible attributes I can offer. Adapting, learning quickly, hard work, friendly service, communication and discipline. Transitioning warfare to serve the country in a modern way. I now work with TEKSynaps with the help desk/ break-fix team. Such a great company and I hope to gain valuable experience.
