Responsible for analyzing business requirements, and translating them into design specifications for technology solutions. Working with enterprise systems for records management, human resource management, incident management, and asset management, including integration with SharePoint. Writing SQL queries to extract data and performing data analysis. Performing data validation and UI testing.Delivering intranet and extranet solutions in SharePoint 2010 and 2013. Creating UI wire frame mock ups and InfoPath forms. Developing custom lists. Providing training for end users and content managers. Developing Governance documents, Procedure documents and User Guides.Application testing as part of a team in preparation for migration from MS Windows XP to MS Windows 7 OS.

Primary responsibility was managing the implementation of our web based, IP management database software for law firm and corporate clients. Collaborated with clients to define the requirements and scope of the project. Managed project schedule, configuration guides and data maps, as well as a team of Developers, QA and Data Migration specialists. Also conducted testing to validate configuration changes and data migration, using the UI and SQL queries. Liaised between the client and Dennemeyer technical staff located in the US, Jordan and Luxembourg. In addition, supported the US organization by managing data migration projects for client-server systems, as well as by providing IP Domain consulting, preparing RFI responses, managing contracts, and maintaining software configuration guides and release notes. Also, provided demonstrations and user training for our software products, as well as advocating for the needs of US clients in our software development program. Supported the global organization as part of a Agile software development team, which was developing our next generation of smart-client software, by performing manual UI testing and developing FIT tests. Used SCRUM Works project management application to track development and target testing effort. Took daily builds of the client application and database from the development server for testing. Used Bug Net software to log bugs and suggest enhancements, as well as Tortoise SVN to manage and share testing documents. Also supported the global organization by documenting US operations procedures in preparation for an application for the ISO 9001 Quality Management Certification. In addition, managed the relationship with a key account, at the request of the Global Director of IT.

Supported two databases for the firm-wide IP Practice Group. The first database supported was the CPi Patent Management System. Supporting this database included: reviewing communications related to patents, updating the database, querying the database, and running reports. Accomplishing these tasks frequently required writing and running SQL scripts. Additional responsibilities included: backing up the database, performance tuning, establishing new user profiles, providing new user training for staff, and acting as the liaison with the vendor. As the liaison, installed quarterly updates and any modifications received from the vendor, performed data transfers to the annuity service, and oversaw all work performed by the vendor. The second database supported was IPDAS, another proprietary database, which runs on MS SQL Server. Supporting this database included updating and querying the database, running reports, and establishing new user profiles. Also responsible for monitoring the daily transfer of data from CPi to IPDAS and reconciling discrepancies, as well as for trouble shooting both databases. In addition, was involved in various special projects, such as: data clean up and standardization of the IP databases, a proposed upgrade of the CPi databases, new client intake, and coordinating data imports for new clients. In addition to working with the databases, also trained and supervised the Regional IP Docket File Clerk for the Northern Virginia office.

Analyzed correspondence and other documents to collect data pertaining to both patents and trademarks; updated an Intellectual Property database (CPi Patent Systems); maintained work files, drafted correspondence, approved invoices, and administered USPTO deposit account. Frequently wrote SQL scripts to update the database, or to query it and provide information about the IP portfolio to the Patent Agents, Attorneys, and management. Performed database administration activities for the IP database. Those activities included performing analysis and standardization of data; new user installations; data transfers between the database and annuity service's database; and system maintenance such as: back ups and performance tuning. Created and implemented new reports and docket actions, including standardizing many docket actions. Also implemented new procedures for docketing interference and opposition proceedings related to patents, processing invoices, and annuity management. Worked on a variety of special projects, including: budget analysis, country law research, and a proposal for upgrading the IP database.

Drafted correspondence; prepared applications, documents, and responses for patents and trademarks, including PCT applications. Maintained the IP database (CPi Patent & Trademark Systems); administered USPTO deposit account; resolved billing issues; and managed annuity fees. Trained and supervised the IP Docket Clerk in the processing of correspondence and maintaining IP database. Worked on a variety of special projects including: evaluating and developing procedures; performing research to obtain data for group business plan; and Competitive Intelligence-related research for client development strategies.

Coordinated the payment of patent maintenance fees in several countries, including verifying and entering data and client instructions, as well as drafting correspondence to clients, foreign associates, and official offices. Performed research via the Internet and public databases. Provided new hire and supplemental training to Patent Analysts; reviewed the work of Patent Analysts; provided performance evaluations for Patent Analysts; and participated in client meetings and training. Evaluated and developed new procedures, and worked on special projects, such as assisting with the development of a system to update database by data transfers from public databases.

Resolved outstanding accounts receivables for corporate, State, and Federal Government clients. This included forecasting monthly resolution for assigned accounts; meeting accounts resolution targets; communicating with clients via meetings, teleconferences, and correspondence; identifying and researching issues; initiating billing corrections, or escalating collection activities, as appropriate; and involving management and sales representatives when necessary.
