I have held a position at the 5-minute express carwash for three years. Over the years, I have learned new skills that will prepare me for future jobs. I have learned to maintenance the machinery and the computers at the carwash, while also developing skills in customer service. Aside from my carwash job, I have worked other part-time jobs including lawn care, working with the county supervisors, waiting tables, and working at a golf course. All of my jobs throughout the years have taught me to take charge and be a leader when necessary and to be a sponge and learn from my co-workers. One benefit of the jobs I have worked is that I have coworkers of various ages. Over the years, this has taught me the correct way to lead people of different ages because some people need to be led differently than others.
