Of the many things in my life that I have strong beliefs in, a couple of them ring especially true, professionally-speaking:We are what we’ve experienced. We are the culmination of the experiences we go through. And maybe more importantly and specifically, we are who we are as a result of the things that we learn from those experiences. Reaching your full potential as a person, and professional, is taking the good - the bad - and the ugly, and learning how to better yourself from all of it. There is no bad experience, if you allow yourself to adapt, change and apply lessons learned, in order to grow. I am who I am, because of the experiences I’ve lived, ranging from playing college football, to years as a successful sales professional, to my time as a Doctorate student in the health and medical field. All of which have played an important role in shaping my life and current career in the Commercial Real Estate Industry.Secondly, we are only as good as the people we surround ourselves with. Surround yourself with people who are driven to be successful, not only for themselves but for those around them. “Rising tides raise ALL ships.” Include people in your life, and in your professional endeavors, who strive for the betterment and success of others.
