System involved remote provisioning, customer authentication and transaction approval over an XML API. Developed primarily in Visual C++ for Visual Studio with TFS.

Upgraded scripts to streamline the private key signing of new set top box images. Converted scripts from Windows to Bash shell and adapted binary formatting tools to a POSIX environment.Configured router setups to enable factory provisioning of set top boxes in parallel.Contract concluded upon sale of division to Technicolor SA.

Maintained embedded software for a laser warning avionics system flown by U.S. Army 160th Regiment Blackhawks and Chinooks. Wrote a test suite that emulates an external Ethernet interface and tests embedded TCP/IP solution. Developed customer software to verify operation of devices after delivery.Created test software in C# to model the performance of external sensors over RS-422. Performed on-site integration of interfaces on target platforms with Wireshark and serial protocol analysis.Built a cross compiler using a Linux virtual machine for legacy PowerPC hardware target.Developed embedded software using C. Used several toolchains to develop software: Mentor Graphics, Xilinx SDK and TI Code Composer Studio. Developed Visual Studio test software using Visual C++/MFC and C#. I develop software-defined radios at Rockwell Collins in Cedar Rapids IA. I'm a contractor. While my work at GD was more integration, RC is more software design and development. Currently I rent a condo in North Liberty, closer to Iowa City.

2005 to 2009Ported a legacy VxWorks GPS application to the current department library code baseline. Developed the software for a launch vehicle flight computer. Produced real-time software for several more missions according to requirements. Developed and reviewed department requirements for several missions based off of mission requirements. Reviewed formal qualification test data for several missions.
