I am a dedicated and ambitious engineering student with a strong foundation in physics and mathematics. I am in my final year of a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours, majoring in Mechanical Engineering and minoring in Aerospace at the University of Canterbury. I also hold a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematics from Victoria University of Wellington.My diverse experience spans mechanical repairs, scientific research, and aerospace projects. This has not only honed my technical skills in CAD modelling, electrical systems development and testing, and fabrication but also strengthened my communication, organizational, and independent research capabilities. I am proficient in various software applications, including Abaqus, COMSOL, Python, and Matlab, and have a solid grounding in documentation and technical writing using LATEX and more.Currently, I am contributing to a final-year project team exploring the viability of shape memory alloys as servo replacements and delving into vent mechanisms for UAV design. My most recent previous roles include hands-on machine repairs at Kennards Hire and independent scientific research at Robinson Research Institute.I am passionate about applying my knowledge and technical skills to innovative mechanical and aerospace projects.
