I offer pragmatic advice considering a wider context than the client's brief to make more profitable and delightful architecture and spaces. I create houses that are uniquely localised to place and history and use both traditional and modern approaches. With the team at Blake Architects and the consultant teams we work with we manage the whole process from pre-planning, offering cost advice through to the management of the construction process; generally working on projects between £250,000 and £4,000,000.I have gained planning permission for new houses in sensitive rural locations and extensions to listed buildings in conservation areas in London. Numerous approvals for barn and hangar conversions, have been achieved.
