The Scholar Relations (SR) staff are members of the Scholar Experience Team and are responsible for the total customer experience; from logistical implementation to being available for any student or other customer that needs individual attention. Work may include: attending to students’ individual needs, interacting with and supervising students, working overnight to provide a student individual attention for any reason, communicating with families, vendors and key contacts, working behind the scenes to ensure that all events run smoothly, performing administrative tasks such as filing paperwork, overseeing a program’s in-field social media initiatives, being responsible for program equipment (i.e. cars, communication equipment) and monies, and other responsibilities as assigned. This position is physical; including heavy lifting and walking/standing for long periods of time. Scholar Relations team members report to the Scholar Relations Lead (for programs that have that position), otherwise the Program Lead.

An Assistant Teacher provides support and assistance to individual students or small groups to help them better understand the content and help them to complete assignments. An assistant teacher also supervises students outside the classroom during lunchtime, field trips or recess.
