It will generate 110 MWac of clean energy for nearly 41,000 households. I was involved in the preconstruction phase of the project and setup many of the supplier and subcontractor agreements. I also performed QC for the foundation and mechanical scope of the project. Alamo 5 Solar - Uvalde, TX - 100 MWac - 3 months This is the largest dual axis solar power plant in the world and is located west of San Antonio. It is a 100 MWac power plant located on a 900 acre site. I performed preconstruction and mobilization services. Mortenson was the EPC on this project for foundation, mechanical, and electrical scopes.

I was a research assistant underneath Dr. Woo working on a BIM project entitled "Virtual Retrofit Model for Aging Commercial Buildings in a Smart Grid Environment" that was done in conjunction with the Wisconsin Energy Research Consortium. The Milwaukee County Research Park building was retrofitted with a network of sensors that correlate to a Virtual Retrofit Model (VRM) constructed in Revit. In the field I assisted superintendents with inspections and other tasks.While I was on the project a cast in place central energy plant was being topped out, interior finish work was taking place in a historic office building renovation, two steel medical buildings were being erected, and piles were being driven for other buildings.
