About Blake Hashimoto
I didn’t originally plan to be a programmer, but at the start of my Sophomore year in college I took a Introduction to Programming course, learned Visual Basic, and instantly fell in love with writing code. I had never before done work that suited my personality so well. I love the logic that underlies most of computer science, I enjoy the design challenges and problem solving that accompany writing code, and the satisfaction of seeing your code execute properly is hard to beat. I’ve then transferred to the University of Washington Bothell, and graduated after two years of intense coursework. I'm currently working as a software development engineer at Majiq and loving what I do.Specialties: Problem solving, iterative development, communication skills, learning new languages quickly, working in small teams, Java, C++
