Like many musicians in neighbouring Alberta, BLAKE HAVARD heard about the music scene breaking out of the Westcoast/Vancouver in the 80’s.Nobody really remembers when BLAKE rolled into town, but in very short order he was writing, producing and recording some of the finest indie rock in Vancouver.Over the years BLAKE has earned the respect of a who’s who on the music scene. My name is Blake Havard and I am a singer/songwriter/ guitarist.I am a live performer and I am open to co-wrting material and having my songs on radio and placed in film, television and beyond.I recently recorded some songs with Pete Droge producing."Wanted to Believe You" was one of the tunes and it was mixed by Mike Fraser (Aerosmith, ACDC, Big and Rich) and was mastered by Grammy winner Richard Dodd (Tom Petty, Dixie Chicks).NEW: I have been doing coaching singer/songwriter/guitarists helping them with getting their internal clock groovi with their voice and guitar. I grew up playing competitive hockey so I know how to practice and instill discipline to help an artist fine tune what they do. Just got back from Mexico working with a singer songwriter down there. Heading to New York in the fall to work with another artist.
