Software Design Engineer at Microsoft Corporation, MSN Chat Test Tool Team, Redmond, WA USA • Primary responsibility for designing the Stress Tools for the MSN Chat Team with particular focus on: - ChatStress Client Tool: tool to simulate the live load on the Chat Servers architecture and stress the chat servers as well using the IRCX protocol.The ChatStress Client is a Win32 client application that allows the tester to connect to different Chatstress services located on any remote machine and through the services stresses the chat server architecture. All the activities of the chat servers’ architecture are monitored and collected through the same services, and displayed on different panes of the UI.- Passport Stress: tool to simulate the Passport sign-up/sign-in process• Primary responsibility for coding the above tools in C++ in the Visual Studio environment: this required extensive use of Win 32 programming – with use of multithreading - MFC, STL, COM. Responsible for both user interface and protocol layer between the client/s and the service/s, communication between service and servers.• Additional consulting projects regarding the maintenance of the pre existent stress tools.
