In this position, I aligned corporate strategies, communications, and transformation goals to plan the overall design for 20 large modular and conventional U.S. hotel projects totaling $1.5B in investments. I directed the design of unique buildings with 300+ rooms. I engaged a six-member team to manage project developments from feasibility studies to openings. Along the way, I mentored my design team and drove design while directing thirteen new constructions, four mixed-use, and two conversion projects in North America. My focus was on innovation, quality, best-in-class guest experience, and Global Brand Standards optimization. My department achieved outstanding global growth resulting in 100% increase in deals and hotels under construction. My efforts during a large project streamlined construction and standardized room and FOH components to allow bulk product procurement with projected cost savings of minimum 20% per project.

My collaboration with Foster+Partners architectural design and engineering firm was instrumental in accomplishing the first breakthrough luxury, best-in-class flagship store in Zorlu Center. Interiors, FF&E & OS&E for a 9-story 4 Star Starwood “W” brand Hotel with 250 keys, a lobby, lobby café and bar, a ballroom, meeting & banquet facilities & a spa. Established daily contact with client and W-Hotels group, managed the fees and the budget of the project, supervised & coordinated design & innovations.- W-Hotels, La Jolla, CA – 356,000 sf. PM. Interiors, FF&E & OS&E. A 29 story 4 Star Starwood “W” brand hotel & condominium containing 190 hotel rooms, 112 condominiums, a health club/spa, restaurant facilities, a ballroom and other meeting facilities. An urban retreat for hip & young business crowd. Established daily contact with client and W-Hotels group, managed the fees & the budget of the project, supervised design, technical, innovation & consultant teams.- Cipriani Hotel & Residences, Avant Guarde, Moscow, Russia – 633,170 sf. Design Director-PM. Interiors & FF&E for 4 Hotel-Condominium towers & a 5 Star Hotel with 200 keys. Wrote project proposal. Met with Developer & Operator to establish program & concept narrative. Directed design team. Established & maintained budget, staffing, billings & collections. - Messilah Beach Hotel Executive Business Lounge, Kuwait – 12,500 sf. Design Director-PM. Interiors & FF&E.Directed design for a high-end exclusive business lounge in a 4 Star Hotel under construction. On-site meetings with client & contractor to conduct value engineering presentations & workshops.

- West Village, White City, London, UK – 125,000 sf Luxury & Designer Goods Emporium within a 1,500,000 sf Shopping Center. Design Director-PM. Retail shop front Master Plan, Interiors and Envelope. Created for Westfield London a New Luxury Village within the Center. Three levels of undercover high-end retail solely dedicated to luxury & designer fashion brands. Managed & supervised design & technical team, retail & shop front master plan, organized meetings & presentations to clients & to clients’ anchors tenants (LVMH, Tiffany & Co). Collaborated with client’s marketing team for official project launch at London Fashion week grand opening. – BuiltRockefeller Center Observation Deck, New York – 50,000 sf.
