CurrentFashion company that imports and distributes woman’s accessories throughout the UK, Europe and USA consisting of 20 staff in-house and 26 sales representatives globally. Responsible for driving a complete overhaul of warehouse and inventory processes which led to measurable improvements in inventory control, data accuracy and process efficiency.Designed new warehouse layout and implemented new picking methods with a focus on cutting down the time taken to pull orders and reducing mis-picks by the development of picking routes. This involved developing a new process for the analysis of best-selling lines and also re-working the layout of order sheets given to warehouse staff. The most picked items are now located at the beginning of the picking route and are closest to the packing and checking area. Order forms are in picking route order to cut down on travel time and increase efficiencies in the picking process.Worked towards preparing the warehouse for technology and conducted research into potential warehouse management systems and the features Pia Rossini required of them.Leading the redevelopment of the company website which upon completion we are confident will become a major revenue stream for this company by opening up a brand new sales channel.Increased the focus on detailed analysis of online customers using analytical software and developed reports to highlight and maintain focus on the key information provided by the software.
