The application was localized into Portuguese, German, Chinese, Japanese, and Spanish.Architect and developer of web services and data stores for membership, entitlement, user data synchronization, and purchasing hosted on Microsoft Azure using SQL Azure, Azure web roles, and Azure Blob storage. Provided expertise on a six month pilot project to replace SunGard’s existing iSeries and RPG-based systems with a new architecture based on the latest Microsoft technologies. Our six person team designed a new framework in C# utilizing the latest .NET 3.0 WPF and WCF technologies interfacing with a SQL server data store. A working prototype was developed to showcase the new framework capabilities including separate WPF, WinForm, and ASP.NET clients integrated through a single layer communicating with the back end services. Other features included custom WPF controls, multi-layer security integrated with Active Directory, multi-culture/language support, and dynamic WPF themes/skins.

Full phase development and delivery of multiple versions of an XML message based middleware banking solution coded in C# and ASP.NET including XML messaging architectures, message service providers, SQL database design, integration with third party products, report generation and presentation, messaging and trace logging subsystems, and web presentation layers for consumer banking, administration and teller products. Successfully transitioned product architecture from a Windows COM based system in VB to a full .NET architecture written entirely in C# and ASP.NET.Responsible for on-site delivery and installation/configuration of the middleware and front end software at several client sites including CIBC and TD Bank of Canada.

Development of web applications for an online community network for the city of Celebration, FL, including design of site layout in HTML/ASP/Javascript with Java applets, VB ActiveX middle tier and C++ data objects.Developed a C++ Windows application used to dynamically build and administer surveys and online forms for AT&T American Transtech using a VB front end interfacing through C++ COM data objects.Developed a Windows application suite to access shop floor manufacturing data for the Vistakon. Redesigned and ported existing framework to Windows in C++.Design and development of a Locomotive Management System for CSX Transportation using C++ under OS/2. LMS provides a graphics intensive client presentation layer to view and control in real time all aspects of locomotive data for management at CSX headquarters.

Working directly with NASA Launch Coordinators, developed a prototype scheduling system for real-time test and launch operations of the Space Shuttle running on OS/2. C++ client code communicating with a multi-threaded OS/2 server running a DB2/2 database.

As part of the development team for a large Client/Server Customer Information System for a major utility company, developed client code using OS/2 PM interfacing through to DB2 on host machine. Also involved in debugging and designing improvements for system architecture code.
