As a technical visiting fellow, I help support the cohort of 70 talented Founders on how they can build data driven, digital scalable businesses to tackle the toughest problem of climate change currently faced by the society today.

Worked as a software engineer of WeSpline platform, a digital social networking platform intended to connect enterprises with startups of the high tech ecosystem.-Designing of data models for storing data of a social networking model in Django.-Solving different designing and architecture problems pertinent to this kind of a social networking setup.-Responsible for handling and working on the AWS infrastructure such as Elastic Beanstalk, EC2, RDS. Creating security groups inside EB and making proper connections for the application to run smoothly.-Built the search infrastructure using Lucene and Solr.-Building various parts of the platform such as Ads and AI based news aggregator and assisted other interns with their tasks.

Working with a PhD student in a research project to test pipelining of KeystoneML toolkit on a disease dataset and use Deeplearning4j’s word2vec and Stanford’s coreNLP to find associations of diseases in academic literature.Also worked on a project to build an application in Flask for a git based database engine project(Orpheus DB).

Develop and manage several databases of mining and resource extraction projects in Africa.Use event data from GDELT, extract it using Google BigQuery and other databases and identify connections to conflict.Visualize the data according to the timeline of the extraction activities in African countries and present it on the maps of those countries.

Worked in a team which designed and developed an online portal in meteor.js for buying and selling cars online. Built a web scraper in python to extract data about cars from the internet off various websites.Integrated various third party apps into the main product.

Worked as a contractor through Altimetrik India.- I worked with pattern matching using Jaccard similarity and word2vec (cosine similarity) of merchant names by creating UDFs in Hive and Hadoop environment.Built REST APIs for their Data Analytics solution using Python and Flask.

Worked in the iLabs department with the Kundera(open source project) team.-Built a web plugin in an MVC styled JS framework(Backbone.js) for Kundera.js to persist data directly into NoSQL(mongoDB, Cassandra) databases from Backbone applications.
