Brian is an Emmy nominated and Associated Press award winning storyteller, strategic communicator, and a scientist who knows the importance of breaking down complicated subjects into segments that are easy to understand for the general public. He has been forecasting weather and reporting news in the Pacific Northwest for 17 years. Brian has a master’s degree in strategic communication and two bachelor’s degrees, in communication and meteorology. Brian has a unique background with commercial agency experience in creative services, video, and audio production. Brian is a leader in his community. He has emceed and auctioneered hundreds of non-profit events, raising millions of dollars for local organizations. He is currently serving as Vice President of the American Meteorological Society‘s Puget Sound Chapter. Brian loves watching the Cougs, Timbers, Mariners, and Seahawks, and firmly believes that pineapple belongs on pizza.
