My expertise lies primarily in developing Java-based back-end applications. Throughout my career, I have gained extensive experience working with SOAP and REST-based web services, where I successfully created and managed multiple modules that interacted with upstream services to consume data. Additionally, I have proficiently utilized JavaScript to handle front-end tasks, ensuring seamless end-to-end application functionality.In my previous role, I played a crucial role in establishing a connection between the back-end application and the Oracle database using Hibernate. This involved designing and implementing a monolithic application with a multi-model architecture. However, as the project evolved, I actively participated in its transformation into a microservices architecture, contributing to its scalability and modularity.Recently, I had the opportunity to expand my skill set by working with Groovy and Python scripting. These scripting languages allowed me to deploy scripts to in-house tools and leverage AWS cloud solutions, further enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our applications.On a daily basis, I engage in a wide range of responsibilities, including addressing client requirements, swiftly resolving high-priority bugs, collaborating with architects to devise optimal solutions, providing valuable insights and guidance to fellow engineers, and facilitating discussions with management to ensure project timelines and scope are adhered to. I actively contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes, suggesting and implementing best practices to enhance overall efficiency.Furthermore, my role involves close collaboration with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, actively participate in estimations, and make informed decisions regarding technology stacks and trade-offs. Additionally, I have experience developing proof of concepts to onboard new customers, working closely with the sales team to ensure a seamless transition.
