As a certified urban planner and public engagement specialist, I have over 10 years of experience in developing and implementing innovative and impactful urban policies and programs that advance equity and economic opportunity. Currently, I serve as the Vice President + Chief of Staff for Initiatives at the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC), where I oversee a portfolio of industry initiatives that support the city's recovery and growth. Previously, I managed The Rockefeller Foundation's Opportunity Collective (ROC), a multi-city initiative that aims to reduce the racial wealth gap through investments in Black and Latinx small businesses. I also led the Equitable Vaccination Initiative in Houston and Chicago where we supported dozens of community-based organizations to increase vaccination rates among marginalized populations. Prior to joining The Rockefeller Foundation, I managed the creation of 100 Resileint Cities' internal consulting team - responsible for creating a business line for the non-profit and delivering resilience strategies for cities across the Americas and Africa, working with city leaders, partners, and stakeholders to address complex urban challenges. My mission is to leverage my technical expertise, analytical skills, and collaborative approach to create and deliver urban solutions that are inclusive, sustainable, and resilient. I am passionate about learning from and contributing to the global urban community, and I have published and presented my work in various academic and professional platforms.
